The 2026 King of the Roads season is officially here. For the first time, Oliver’s Mount in Scarborough hosts the series’ opener with the Bob Smith Spring Cup.

England’s sole true road racing venue, Oliver’s Mount has long held a place on the King of the Roads calendar but is this year expanding its presence beyond September’s Gold Cup to also kick off the season this weekend. 

Road racing fans are in for a cracker on Sunday 12 April when classes take to the course for a full day of two- and three-wheel action with each class jam-packed with talent as riders hope to kick off their years in style on the course commonly referred to as the ‘mini TT by the seaside.’

Tickets to the event are still available from £30 for race day as the event approaches, but as road racing fans first discovered last year, a trackside view is best served with access to a full live stream broadcast. Following the successes of last year’s King of the Roads Live Pass across a handful of events, high-quality, live coverage will be available at even more of the world’s greatest road races in 2026.

This weekend will be the first time King of the Roads provides its live broadcast service for Oliver’s Mount Bob Smith Spring Cup with all the action available to watch live as part of the KOTR Live Pass.
