Greenlight TV’s 2023 King of the Roads series is underway following an exciting weekend of racing at the Cookstown 100 in Northern Ireland. The series, which ranks riders in the main race at each of the six road racing events being televised in 2023, showcases totally unique motorcycle racing on closed public roads, offering up thrilling challenges for man and machine.

With the main race at the Cookstown 100 rained off, King of the Roads points were awarded in the Supersport A race which saw Mike Browne take the top spot with 25 points ahead of Michael Dunlop and Darryl Tweed.

Another outstanding achievement at the meeting was local rider Barry Davidson who chalked up three wins to join an elite group of riders with 100 Irish road race wins – he is now on 102.

Taking place at a number of iconic events in Europe and Asia, this year’s King of the Roads will hit the UK’s television screens on ITV4 in April running through to November.
