The fourth season of the King of the Roads has now come to its conclusion, with Davey Todd crowned as the champion after 14 races across 7 events. 

Starting at the Cookstown 100 in April and concluding at the Macau Grand Prix in November, the 2024 season saw 6 different riders take victory throughout the season. Below are a collection of facts and figures from the 2024 campaign.

Across the 7 round season, 122 riders entered at least 1 King of the Roads event, with 80 riders scoring points. 8 manufacturers were represented, with victories going to BMW, Ducati, Honda and Triumph.

Davey Todd collected the most wins, with 4. The Englishman won the Southern 100 Championship Race, both the Open and Race of Legends at the Armoy Road Races and the Macau Grand Prix. Todd also finished the year with the most podiums on 8.

The biggest margin of victory came in the opening race of the season, the Cookstown 100 Open race, with Dominic Herbertson beating Neil Kernohan by over 30 seconds following the mechanical issues suffered by Michael Sweeney. The closest margin of victory was in the Southern 100 Senior Race, in which Michael Dunlop beat Davey Todd by just 73 thousandths of a second after over 15 minutes of flat out road racing.
